Born on a misty day in November 1966. Spent most of the childhood inventing strange games that nobody but I understood. A problem that still pops up now and then ;)
Was introduced into the wonderful world of wargaming during the end of the 80´s. Vivé Le Empereur” was the first set of rules that pulled me into table top gaming. And I am still an avid miniature painter. Magnus first showed me a board game, “Russian Campaign” and as usual beat the crap out of me.
But I was hooked. Started on my first own wargame based on the Gamers NBS series back in 2001. Two scenarios of the Battle of Leipzig 1813 were done when I teamed up with Anders Fager. Anders wrote the rules and I did the maps on “Vimieiro” in 2002 and “Espinosa” in 2003. “Vimieiro” is now released as a module in MMP latest game “Talavera” in the NBS series.
Also had a huge fat finger in the making of the graphics to “Hell game”. My most notable contribution that still exists today is the hand drawn shape of the gaming board and the text from Dante’s “Inferno” in the background. I also figure on the card “Playground of the Idle”. I’m the fat bastard with the tartan shirt. Was one of the founders of 3CG which we started in 2006. I am still doing gaming projects outside 3CG. Notably the graphics to “Operation Valküria”, again together with Anders Fager.

I was born in the dramatic year of the Cuba Crises of which I of course was luckily unaware. In this mysterious and ancient age television broadcasts was in black and white, computers was really big and had strange names like, BARK, CALDIC, DASK, MANIAC and so on. In Sweden the parliament discussed if the country should obtain nuclear weapons or not. We actually had games in these days, but they where complete analogue. We played things like Monopoly, Risk (the first war game I saw), Skattkammarön (Treasure island), and various card games.
By the time I thought it could be fun making my own games. A great number of ambitious but poorly made games started to leave my desk instead of homework, and in the same time my games became better and better my grades became worsened. The first war game (besides of Risk) I possesed was Avalon Hill’s D-Day. I was about twelve and my English wasn’t that good so I didn’t understand much of it, but I was fascinated and captured. Of course I thought I could make a better war game myself. I could not, then.
Magnus and I have been friends since childhood and he has tried most of my products. Surprisingly he seemed to like them all. Maybe this says more about Magnus then my games. But we have had lots of fun with both my games and “real” games. Magnus presented me to Anders Fager (Mr. Gottick). Anders took our gaming hobby to new levels with his unconventional gaming style. He also showed us that it might be possible to produce and sell our own games. Later on Anders involved me as model in Hell Game (“Bad People” and “Playground of the idle” cards) as well as in the card game Love Soap (“The Butler”). I have also been a game tester of these games. Together with Anders, and some other fellows I have contributed to Operation Valküria. When Stefan entered my gaming scene he was more of a tabletop gamer then a traditional war gamer. But he was soon introduced to our war games, I still remember a great session we had with Leipzig. Now he has introduced me to the world of tabletop, so I guess we are even. Now a days I spent more time making my own games than playing others. But sometimes it’s great to sit down with some friends, open the cardboard box, unfold the map and start to sort the counters…..I’m also a co founder of 3CG.
