The Game 10 Days in September™, is a boardgame covering the German invasion of Poland in 1939.
The scene:
As the title says, the game handles the 10 first days of september 1939. Army group North trying to link 3:rd and 4:th Army and thereby connecting East Prussia with the Fatherland again. Army Group South thrusts forward with the 10 Army as the wedge trying to cease Warsaw as quick as possible. Hitler was eager to impress Stalin.
The Game Design
10 Days in September™ is taught in 30 minutes and easy to digest yet a challenge even for the more experienced players. It is not as easy as you think to be the german player! Remember that "Blitzkrieg" wasn´t really invented until the Campaign in France 1940.
The game is built around a chit pulling system telling you which armies to move. The german gains VP for historical targets taken before, or at the latest, the same turn as they did historically. Each turn is one day and the game has 10 turns.
The game components:
Zip-lock bag
A1-size map
280 die-cut counters
2 six-sided dies
rules and tables
